Kristen Beireis, Life Enthusiast
I grew up as a small town girl with
big dreams of singing on Broadway. I earned a degree in Music Education
so I'd have a career to fall back on that would pay the bills until I made it on
Broadway. I, then, married my dear husband and we both moved to New Jersey. During
the six years that I pursued my dreams, I learned some very valuable life lessons.
Working hard can move you closer to your dreams.
It helps to LOVE the process of
getting there. It helps to be willing to to take some risks. One day I woke up and
realized that I didn't love the process, didn't want to work that hard and was NOT willing
to take the risks required to be a Broadway actress. In fact, all I really wanted
was the end product. The life of an actress was not for me.
That's when I discovered Life
Coaching. I knew something had to change, but had NO IDEA what those
changes might be and how I might go about it. So, I hired a Life Coach.
Through this amazing process, I decided to move back to a small town, in my home
state of Ohio. I realized how much I truly loved learning about myself. I
also found that I had lost touch with my desire to help and inspire others.
As an actress I did this all the time (without realizing it) in sharing my story
of following my dream. I wanted to see others do the same and not miss out
on that.
I would always say "If you don't try, you'll never know what
could've been." I have always believed in living life to the fullest and
following my dreams. These beliefs and desires led me to become a Coach.
I've had many
careers in my life; Music Teacher, Administrative Assistant,
Office Manager, Singer/Actress, Virtual Assistant, Virtual Marketing
Professional and now, Life Coach. At times, I've tolerated the position I
was in, just to be working...no matter how much I didn't want to be there.
Now, I refuse to tolerate and I refuse to settle
for anything less than a career that I truly love working in. I
am also determined to make sure my career doesn't consume my personal life.
I've created time for myself, my husband, my parents, other family members and
friends that I enjoy connecting with.
I suspect I'm
done career hopping. If ever I feel like I'm tolerating
again, I WILL evaluate what needs to change and take action to make sure I get
back to where I want to be.
I'm a
CTI Trained Coach. I want to
support people in creating the careers and lives they truly enjoy, every day. It's amazing to
watch others soar! I love to hear the excitement in a client's voice when
they have taken a step towards what they want.
I love exploring with my
clients to find their passions and desires. My reward is when a client
chooses to put their happiness as top priority.
I have great passion for Coaching
and for Coaches. I love the Coaching Community and want to remain a part
of that for years to come while working with other groups that are important to
me.
These are my new dreams. I
don't mind working hard as a Coach. Every step of the process is exhilarating, fun
and absolutely amazing! I am willing to take the risks necessary to keep me happy.
I am constantly learning and growing with my clients. Every session is a new adventure.
I spring out of bed to start my day, every morning.
I look at my life and I'm amazed that I'm here, every day. This is my dream.
